Walking Tour of Galleries

Our events calendar is updated to include tours in two of New York’s major gallery-rich neighborhoods: Chelsea, the Upper East Side and TriBeCa.  Each has a tremendous concentration of art galleries within just blocks from each other.

What You Can Expect:

  • We will have pre-planned a 2-hour tour of 6 to 8 of the best current gallery shows in that neighborhood which are accessible within walking distance

  • We will brief you on each artist and explore in detail how their practice and works connect with both the current art world but also past movements and artists. 

  • We will have a stimulating informed and candid conversation about art works.

Tours of New York’s Modern Public Art

Starting in May 2025, we will be offering a tour of all of the best public art in lower Manhattan. NYC’s downtown is filled with massive sculptures and murals by major artists, from Louise Nevelson to Jean Dubuffet to Keith Haring and many more. These walks are a bit more demanding in terms of the steps and distances covered, but they are perfect to enjoy NYC public art outdoors.

Artists’ Studio Tours

Our calendar will at times include the opportunity to visit an artist’s studio in NYC.

  • These visits allow you to meet an artist in his or her workspace.

  • The artist will normally speak about their bio, current vision, process and current output.
